Scannable Resume Format
Unlike a resume read by the human eye, your scannable resume format
must be easy to read by computer scanners and related software,
as previously indicated in this section.
So, it's essential to stick to basics to avoid formatting headaches.
Scannable Resume Format Tips
Type all text flush left with the margin.
Don't incorporate tables or graphics.
Type your scannable resume section headers in ALL CAPS. Alternately,
type them in bold print in a font size that is
slightly larger than the body text.
Separate your scannable resume sections with white space or solid,
horizontal lines with white space above and below them. Avoid using
hyphens (---), periods (...), tildes (~~~) and other characters
to separate sections.

ResumeEdge give
your scannable resume and cover letter an edge!
